Update: Yeah, that didn't work so well. Back to ReCaptcha....
I just re-enabled account creation using a new invisible captcha service since ReCaptcha was letting us down. For the web devs out there (note I'm NOT one :) ) that might be interested in this stuff, we're now using the InvisibleCaptcha control from Phil Haack now part of the Subkismet project at CodePlex. In this project you'll also find controls for Akismet and a few other spam-busting services.
